Meat Biggest GreenHouse Gas Emitter
Erin at eco-blog Keetsa writes that the production transport, and consumption of meat is a bigger threat to global warming than all the other carbon dioxide polluters combined. It takes more energy and overall more resources to produce meat than to drive cars.
Studies done at various levels prove that eating less meat is good for you and now it is coming out in the mainstream media, that it is good for the environment as well. If you don’t fancy going vegetarian full-time, then consider cutting out meat atleast a few days of the week, your heart and your planet will thank you. (not to mention, the animals will be very happy, too)

Mmmm… I am a self confessed foodie and love meat too much to give it up but will try to go vegetarian few days a week to make up for it.
Looking forward to some recipes to keep me busy at the stove.

Oh I love anything but definitely anything ethnic.. Can’t wait for the recipes. I did go vegan for about 6 months but I thought I was going to pass out and just crashed. I will try to go slower this time.. it’s funny because now that i am pregnant I don’t want to eat meat that much.. hmmmm maybe the baby is vegetarian
