Hi Jana,
Good to hear your story! Nobody should have to live without mac and cheese, especially not vegans! :) I also have been searching for (good tasting) vegan cheese substitutes to little avail. I'll let you know if I find anything up to par. Take care and keep reading!
Cheers,
Jason
P.S. @ deals: Your review? Are you some sort of food blog? Your post is kinda hard to understand. Sorry you didn't like the product as much as the rest of us did.

Awesome Jana! Glad you found the review helpful and exciting. Kudos to Jason for turning us both on to this product. I've yet to try it and prior to Jason writing about it, had never even heard of it. Sometimes I think i'm a terrible vegetarian. LOL. There's much I have to learn and experience as a veghead. Slowly but surely, we'll get there.
Thanks for visiting and sharing your breakfast story with us. I enjoyed it.

I've had a box of the Shells and Chreese Cheddar Style in my pantry and didn't really have the nerve to try it until I read your review. I've been getting my mac n cheese fix at a BBQ down the way called Lazy Bones where all their sauces are vegan and they have vegan mac n cheese made with nutritional yeast and cashews that is TO DIE FOR!! They also do a mean BBQ Small Planet Tofu Steak and have sides like sweet potato fries, veggie kabobs, and apple and lentil salad, and all vegan items are prepared on separate equipment from the meat. The price, unfortunately, was way to steep to eat it on a regular basis. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for turning me on to a product that is simply amazing. I prepared it exactly as the package directed using organic vanilla soymilk (I use it for everything, the vanilla doesn't make a bit of difference except when you are enjoying it straight!!), and added about 2 T of Earth Balance. It took all my strength not to eat the entire thing!! I was strong, however, and put the second half of it in the fridge, and you can bet when it gets cold by lunch time (yes....I ate it for breakfast!!) I will be trying it out again to see how it eats straight from the fridge. I absolutely recommend this product if you have been missing mac n cheese as I have for years (I haven't found a vegan cheese substitue that I like except for Teese). I am heading straight for my Huckleberries Natural Market today to pick up a case and hand them out to friends....vegans and non-vegans alike!! Peace all........Jana (ohsoveggie)
