@btuck1223 My understanding of “raw” in terms of food is defined as uncooked. Living means it is still growing or has literally been just harvested, like a sprout of vegetable from your garden.
@SecretsOfLongevity But there is no life running through a piece of meat, right? Does that not mean that it’s not “raw?” How are you defining “raw?” Something that is uncooked? Or something that has life running through it?
Anybody who eats raw meat is insane. One word PARASITES! LOL!
@btuck1223 It’s most definitely raw, it’s just not living, vibrant or full of life force.
So in other words, there is no such thing as raw meat, since all meat that we buy is just decomposing flesh.
@c2myers Absolutely, I will address that then, but I’ll say right now since an iron deficiency is not fun that the best sources of iron are raw cacao, dark leafy greens and especially algae like spirulina.
@SecretsOfLongevity
I honestly think that if you tried it you’d be surprised with the benefits. unless its an ethical thing, than you should just do what you want to do.
@SecretsOfLongevity
But the reason I don’t trust evidence alone, is because I believe every person has a different genetic makeup, so therefore you can find evidence about a particular diet for the average person, but this is no way means that it is ideal for you because we are beings that constantly evolve and constantly have infinite relationships with food, air, people… You may like a song that someone else doesn’t, just as your body may utilize protein in a different way than someone.
@SecretsOfLongevity
I guess for the average person, it isn’t as crucial for them to regenerate as much as I do, since I am healing from a devastating surgery, and I guess I need super-regeneration to reverse the damage done. Is this the best thing for the average person? I cannot say. But it is ideal for me, and I just want people to know that they can speed up the regeneration of there body with things such as raw meat, chlorella ect…
@todayisthedaytolive I don’t need to try a fruitarian diet to comment on it when I’ve seen the detrimental long term consequences of it, I don’t need to try the “cookie” diet (it exists) to comment on it and I don’t need to try the primal diet either when all the evidence points towards these being unsustainable in the long term. By all means these diets can be healthier than a SAD diet (except maybe the cookie diet), but we’re looking for the best.
@todayisthedaytolive Those proteins need to be broken down into amino acids first and then resynthesized by the body (using up enzymes, although of course raw meat won’t deplete these stores as much) to make new cells etc. The cell is mostly protein and EFA’s. Saturated fat is made in the body and too much of it clogs up the cells ability to exchange nutrients through it’s lipid membrane. Omega 6′s and 3′s (that the cell walls are made of) are abundant in sprouts, seeds and other plant material.
Thanks! I eat roughly one or two servings of meat per week but always make sure I get my protein. Unfortunately, I am low in iron. My friend tells me that the body doesn’t absorb iron well without fat entering the bloodstream with it.
So, next sunday, could you tell us about the best way to get iron?
@SecretsOfLongevity
I believe that a high green juice/sprout juice diet along with chlorella can give similar results to raw meat, but I have found that each food adds to a spectrum, and in order to get the greatest benefits possible, I feel eating the largest spectrum possible – raw meat, fish, eggs, chlorella, green/sprout juice, is ideal.
I have never done a sprout juice, but I have done tons of green juice and like 10 tablespoons of algae a day, but I still needed more…
I’m just saying, at least try it before you deny it… (also there is a major difference between cooked and raw meat)
@todayisthedaytolive Did you try the Hippocrates diet with 1 litre of sprout, cucumber and celery juice a day first, before moving on to this raw meat diet? My point isn’t to vilify meat or any food, but rather look at the nutrients that give us the results we like and see what the healthiest form they can come in is.
If we want new flesh than wouldn’t it make sense that eating flesh would be the best food for the body to regenerate? It contains practically everything to create new cells, because they are cells!!!
raw meat is one of the healthiest food I’ve ever eaten. I am healing from things that plants couldn’t help me with… Scientifically validated or not, my body regenerates and heals faster when I eat raw meat and fish according to my own observations. I heal from being sore was faster as well…
