@08paul83 the seasonings used are what is referred to as an italian sausage by americans, not necessarily that the sausage or recipe necessarily came from italy

@niall868 “If you want to resort to the absurd, humans could not be consumed due to the extensive time it would take to rear them, the volume of food it would take to feed would not make them economically worthwhile and consumption would encourage the spread of disease (as in mad cow disease).”

Who knows? If they pumped infants with enough growth hormones and antibiotics they could probably make it work. God knows they’ve had plenty of practice on cows.

Thank you so much for making this video. I’ve been buying the Tofurky sausage, which is really good, but quite pricey.

you might want to look into gluten, and the way your body works because glue or a lump is not what’s going to happen. SIS!

but will the flour sit in your stomach like glue or a lump thats what I’m concerned about.

Mmm. That is cheap. I’ll look into that next time. Thanks, HRB. (next time being quite a while – to anyone not familiar with making seitan, 4kg goes a LONG way)

I had no issue with flourbin, just found their shipping to be a bit high.

i did some more digging and found lowcarbmegastore had 1kg for £7.75 inc shipping.

its £2.80 per kg and £4.95 shipping

Just a shame it costs so much to get it to your door compared to the price of the flour!

I’m also gonna ask the local baker if they have it, might be a much cheaper way fo getting it.

Some fish bait stores sell it, but it is not intended for human consumption – not because it is produced any differently, but because it isn’t stored according to H&S regulations. Flourbin were fine for me and delivered promptly.
