I’ve tried this and it seems to be both better and cheaper than Bob’s Red Mill brand. Buying it like this brings the total price down to around .40 per bag..the best deal for people needing to replace the regular flour in their diet. The only thing I can suggest is to carefully store this flour as it can go stale before you use it all. I would suggest a good glass or heavy plastic, sealable container which can go in the fridge. Also you can buy this directly from Honeyville for cheaper.

I purchased this flour a few weeks ago and just baked with it the first time yesterday. I was very satisfied with the taste and texture of it. However, I cannot tolerate gluten or rice and after eating some of what I had baked, I had an allergic reaction. I called the company and they could not tell me anything in regards to their mills nor if there could be any cross-contamination. The lady on the phone seemed to think that the mills are shared equipment and that no precautions are taken to avoid cross-contamination. If you’re buying it for low-carb prep only, it should be a good flour at a great deal. Please beware if you are using it to avoid gluten or other allergenic grains!

Note: PLEASE READ COMMENT BELOW FROM HONEYWELL! They have since modified their manufacturing to eliminate cross-contamination.

I’ve been extremely impressed with Amy & Brian’s coconut juices. If you take a look at the ingredients, it’s just young coconut juice and lime juice. How could it be any purer than that?

I thought this flavor tasted a little funny at first, but I think I didn’t shake it. After shaking it before subsequent experiences, it had a very refreshing lime taste along with the coconut juice.

Amy & Brian coconut juices are fantastic energizers and a great pick-me-up during the day.

I got some of these after reading some reviews I admit I have never drank any type of coconut juice befoe but was looking for a good hydration drink. After drinking most one can I was surprised it tasted like flat lemon lime soda! Really little taste besides the lime- I will mix it next time with some club soda-. As for hydration don’t know yet but hope it works! Very low calorie, low sodium drink for those on a diet-me!

I have used this product for over 5 years and it is outstanding. It holds my hair in place all day and it is NOT greasy. I work out at the club daily, shower,wash my hair, towel dry and apply a small amount of this stuff and it is very effective. I liked it so much that I purchase it in bulk. Unfortunately, it is hard to find in a retail store, even in the ethnic section so you may have to order it online. I strongly recommend the effort in locating a vendor. I tried substitutes and did not have the same result. Good luck.

I used to cut up pounds of veggies, and spend countless hours marinating them and placing them piece by piece onto skewers. The outcome was tasty but the amount of items you’d lose during grilling was kind of disappointing.

I ordered this grill basket from Amazon, and its great! I had a few 1 gallon bags full to the top from Fathers Day; chunks of red onion, white onion, whole white mushrooms, zucchini, red peppers, orange peppers, corn on the cob, and of course a few cloves of fresh garlic…all marinating in some olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, and paprika.

Instead of skewering each piece I simply dumped the bag into the basket, latched it shut, and tossed it on a hot grill! The outcome is fantastic!

Clean up is a little challenging just because of the size and wire mesh you gotta wipe down, for the most part a quick rinse under water and a sponge between the grids was more than enough. (A garden hose and sprayer would be perfect)

One quick tip I found is really “compress” your veggies into the basket, squeeze the top cover down tight and latch it shut…it’ll save those little chunks from falling out!

This is really a great item for anybody who enjoys grilling, from fish to veggies, you’ll be more than happy!

This product works as advertised, my tomatoes are doing very well. However, it is VERY heavy when filled with dirt and watered. You need a sturdy hook and place to hang it. I was having problems with it drying out quickly (granted, I live in New Mexico, where it is quite dry) even though I had added water absorbing crystals to the soil. I ended up removing the top 6 inches of soil and placing a plastic milk jug in the top. I punched some holes in the bottom of the jug and I fill this with water nearly every day. The water then slowly seeps in to the soil instead of running out the bottom, dripping is reduced and the plant gets the water it needs. I would give it five stars if some system were in place to keep it from dripping so I could use it indoors and if it were a little easier to plant.

I have used the Topsy Turvy Tomatoe Planter for 3 seasons now, and will never, ever plant my tomatoes in the ground again. This product is sturdy, simple to use, and produces beautiful fruit. Because the plants grow toward the sun and never touch the ground, the slugs and other critters cannot ruin or run off with your produce. As I have already stated, I have used the same bags for 3 seasons now, and have not had any problems at all. I highly recommend this product.

I used these for 4 seasons, and that was about the end the first pair…they do wear out eventually, and they were well worth the price I paid for them. So, I guess I need to replace them! Four summers’ worth was pretty good!

I AM AMENDING MY REVIEW AND OFFERING A MEA CULPA TO ANYONE WHO HAS BOUGHT ONE OF THESE IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS. I DO STAND BY THE IDEA AND HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS FOR MANY SEASONS BUT APPARENTLY THE POPULARITY AND THE FLOODING OF THE MARKET WITH THESE HAS GIVEN THE MAKERS CAUSE TO DRASTICALLY REDUCE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT. I BOUGHT FOUR THIS SEASON AND HAVE HAD THE CABLES BREAK, EVEN AS I WAS PLANTING TWO OF THEM. ALSO, THE ACCESSORIES LIKE THE FOAM INSERTS THAT HOLD THE PLANT HAVE DECREASED FROM ONE INCH TO A MERE QUARTER OF AN INCH AND EVEN THAT IS SUCH INFERIOR QUALITY THAT THE PLANT BULGES OUT FROM THE NOW SHALLOWER CUP MEANT TO HOLD IT. THERE USED TO BE TWO FOAM DISCS THE WIDTH OF THE PLANTER TO BE PLACED AT INTERVALS IN THE SOIL TO SLOW DOWN EVAPORATION AND KEEP THE WATER FROM RUNNING RIGHT THROUGH – - – NOT ANYMORE.

IN ADDITION, THE LIDS ARE ILL FITTING, THE PLASTIC LINER IS MUCH LESS DURABLE AND ARE NOT ATTACHED WELL TO THE PLASTIC FRAME OR THE TOP WIRE RING. THE REASON THAT I AM NOT DELETING THE PREVIOUS REVIEW IS BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT JUST A “SOUR GRAPES” OPINION. THEY JUST AREN’T WORTH BUYING ANYMORE. —- MAY 28, 2009

I thought that this would just be a fun conversation starter when people visited my garden – it is so much more! This product far exceeds the description in the ad.

The inverse orientation seems to encourage hearty plants – super strong stems requiring no staking – so many tomatoes that I’ll be giving them away by the bushel – BEST of all the bugs don’t seem to notice it is even there (and the rabbits can’t reach it). After the severe rains this past Spring the whole rest of my garden is bogged down with mold, mildew and more insects than I have ever seen but the hanging tomato garden is thriving and pest free. The only access a crawly creature would have would be the wire that it hangs from (a much more clever design than the expensive ‘Upside-down Tomato Garden’ (.97) that is in actual contact with the ground and besides, that one has to be put together).

Make sure that your plant ‘starts’ are a good five or six inches tall before they go into the planter and be consistent with the water (about a gallon each day) tomatoes are heavy drinkers.

This item has far exceeded my expectations in terms of plant growth and vegetables produced on the plants. We have several different vegetables and herbs growing in the Topsy Turvey II planters – tomatoes, jalapeno and habanero peppers, zucchini, basil, dill. All have good plant structure with more production than my neighbors’ traditional gardens without the constant battle with bugs, rabbits, deer, etc. Fruits and herbs are easy to pick and plants are easy to maintain. It is nice to have fresh items on the dinnertable every night.

There are a few points to consider to insure your success:

1) Topsy Turvey container is VERY heavy when filled with plant, dirt, water so it NEEDS to be hung from stud on porch or 4×4 stand, etc – make sure it is study enough to hold approximately 50 pounds and not topple in strong winds as the item works like a windsock when the winds blow.

2) any container grown plant needs more water than the same plant grown in the ground so be prepared to water tomatoes daily for best results.

3) other vegetables (all varieties of peppers, squash, beans, herbs, etc.) can also be grown in these items but again, additional watering is needed (watch plants closely to see when watering is necessary as plants other than tomatoes require less water than tomatoes.)
