Get your FREE 7-day Vegetarian Meal Plan from: www.KardenasKitchen.com Plus, you’ll discover the 10 foods NOT to eat on a weight loss diet. Hi! I’m Kardena Pauza from EasyVeggieMealPlans.com. Today we are getting ready to go to the airport on a last minute trip. This is a great opportunity for me to show you what I do to prepare for a long trip. I want to bring a lot of healthy and easy to prepare foods for trips like these. I took some vegetables from my refrigerator and chopped them up (it took me about 15 minutes of prep time) into a vegetable salad. This will last us for 2 days (broccoli, spinach, beets, asparagus, radishes, fresh corn). It’s a light salad that will work for us because we aren’t going to be very active on this trip. This salad is full of nutrients and will make us feel very light and energized. Keep in mind if you are traveling on a plane, you can bring food, but not liquids. So, instead of storing my dressing in a container, I’m going to drizzle it on my salad and take it with me that way. This is my favorite quick and easy salad dressing, which you can find in my Easy Veggie Meal Plans, which you can get online. I make it by drizzling some sunflower seed oil, agave nectar and amino acids for the salt and fresh-squeezed lemon juice. It’s great! You can take a lot of healthy snacks on the plane (vegetables, nuts, seeds). I’m also going to pack some celery sticks and cucumbers. I sprinkle a little bit of seasoning on a cucumber which is great. It’s …

Fried rice is one of those lovely comforting foods that everyone in the world seems to like. No one is intimidated by fried rice. Somehow all these rogue ingredients have crept into restaurant versions over the years, such as corn, peas, ham and the like. I find the trick with fried rice is to keep it really simple and traditional – just some really fresh and fluffy eggs, onion, bacon or Chinese sausage, ginger and some spring onions.

Vegetable fried rice is a light-weight alternative to heavy food. Vegetable Fried Rice is what all of you must have cooked and eaten at home or in restaurants. It’s a really simple dish to make, and healthy too because of all the veggies that it has. I describe my recipe for making Vegetable Fried Rice which goes extremely well with my Vegetable Fried rice. Here is the recipe for my version of Chinese style Vegetable Fried Rice. Vegetable Fried Rice is Very easy and very tasty too. It is best eaten with tomato ketchup or a hot and sweet sauce.

This fried rice dish combines the nutty flavor of fried rice with the fresh taste of bell peppers, baby peas, and other vegetables. This dish is actually a lot simpler than most of us perceive it to be. Fried rice is cooked on a high flame, and the trick is to cut the vegetables small, so that they do not remain raw inside. It requires vigorous stirring though. Fried Rice or Vegetable Fried Rice is a popular north Indian dish. Its main ingredients are rice and vegetables like carrot, beans and Capsicum .It is quite a healthy dish. It is widely preferred by youngsters in the modern world and used to eat in all age of peoples.

Neatly Fried rice Natural tastes for food develop early. If kids eat real food and develop a taste for fruits, vegetables and other delicious flavors from Nature, they won’t depend on the stronger and enhanced flavor of processed food. Our Indomunch restaurant newly opened in Newyork city, the restaurant items will prepared in very neatly, and with a decent dinner, our guests have never complained, but we could never pull off that dream dinner, with all the courses perfectly synchronized. Please purchase online Fried rice in the website www.indomunch.com in Newyork city.

You’ve weighed your options carefully, studied the pros and the cons, and decided that the vegetarian lifestyle is right for you. But where do you start making the changes? Do you go ‘cold turkey?’ Do you adopt a more gradual approach to transitioning to vegetarianism? However you choose to make the change, you can begin to achieve the health benefits of vegetarianism by significantly cutting down on the amount of meats consumed, and making vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains the focus of your meals.

Choose whole-grain products like whole wheat bread and flour, instead of refined or white grains. Eat a wide variety of foods, and don’t be afraid to try vegetables, fruits, grains, breads, nuts, or seeds that you’ve never tried before. Experiment and explore! You may discover a new favorite or two, and learn fresh new ways to liven up more traditional vegetarian dishes. Many vegetarian foods can be found in any grocery store. Specialty food stores may carry some of the more uncommon items, as well as many vegetarian convenience foods. When shopping for food, plan ahead, shop with a list and read food labels. And if you decide to eat dairy products, choose non-fat or low-fat varieties, and limit your egg intake to 3-4 yolks per week.

Becoming a vegetarian can be as easy as you choose to make it. Whether you enjoy preparing delectable, delicious meals or choose quick and easy ones, vegetarian meals can be very satisfying. If you get in the habit of keeping the following on hand, meal preparation time will become a snap: -Ready-to-eat, whole-grain breakfast cereals, and quick-cooking whole-grain cereals such as oatmeal, whole-grain breads and crackers, such as rye, whole wheat, and mixed grain and other grains such as barley and bulgur wheat

-Canned beans, such as pinto, black beans, and garbanzo beans

-Rice (including brown, wild, etc.) and pasta (now available in whole wheat, spinach, and other flavors) with tomato sauce and canned beans and/or chopped veggies

-Vegetarian soups like lentil, navy bean, or minestrone

-A wide variety of plain frozen vegetables, and canned and frozen fruit

-Fortified soymilks and soy cheeses, should you choose to not eat dairy

-A wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, which should be the core of any diet

As you learn to experiment with foods and learn that a meatless diet doesn’t have to lack variety, you’ll find your decision for vegetarianism was not only wise, but easy and fun come mealtime.

Indian recipes have become synonymous with healthy ingredients! Indian food is well known for its ability to retain the healthy, nutritious quality based on ancient texts and knowledge passed on from one generation to another. And the good news is that nowadays they have got even better and well satisfy the requirements of modern men and women. The uniqueness of Indian menu can be well interpreted from the fact that all the food items posses a couple of ingredients—one working to nullify the side effect of the other and compliment each other nutritional value. Indian food is of course a great way to lead a healthy life. The great Indian food recipes have transformed the way people used to think earlier that healthy food is always dull and boring.

The appreciation for Indian culture and the understanding of its cuisine have increased considerably in western countries and contemporary Indian restaurants are coming up in different parts of the world. But unfortunately most people think Indian food as hot, spicy, oily, rich on fat, complicated and time-consuming to cook, etc…Indian food has remained highly understood up-till now. Although they are slightly time consuming but with right preparation method it can be reduced to a considerable extent.

Vegetarian recipes are regarded as the most efficient nutriment as plants are the basis of the food chain, next to the source of life itself, which is solar energy. Indian vegetarian dishes are loaded with antioxidants. Vegetarianism deals with our spiritual growth, which is evident from the growing number of vegetarian all over the world. Meat eater gets frequently angry and violent than vegetarian as the animal instincts becomes stronger every time we eat meat. Nutrition obtained from vegetarian diet has more sustaining power. Vegetarianism is a path to healthy lifestyle! Vegetarian diet posses lower fat content, lower saturated fat, lower cholesterol, more carbohydrates, vitamin, mineral, fiber and less protein which results in less obesity, less hypertension, less osteoporosis, fewer cases of heart attack, bowel disease and cancer.

Vegetarianism prepares the ground work for the health of body, mind and soul. Vegetarian diet not only improves your health and fitness but also assist you in spiritual enhancement. In order to achieve good health and purity of your body, mind, soul and planet, adopt vegetarianism.

Perhaps you have seen the old food pyramid in a newspaper or magazine or you might have seen it on the doctor’s surgery wall. There is now a new food pyramid, which is easier to read and use.

The old food pyramid stacks four food groups on top of one another. The largest food group is at the base and this is bread, cereal, rice, and pasta. Next, up you have fruit and vegetables. The second from the top is dairy, meat, fish, eggs, nuts, and beans and right at the top, with the smallest space, is fats and oils. You can use this food pyramid to tell at a glance how much of each type of food you should be eating.

With the new food pyramid, there are downwards rainbow colored stripes symbolizing each food group. The new food pyramid also makes it clear how many cups or ounces of each food you should eat per day because not everybody is sure how big a “serving” should be exactly.

How Important is to follow the Food Pyramid?

Doctors agree that eating a balanced diet is good for your health. Combining grains, fruit, vegetables, dairy produce, and fats is nourishing and gives your body everything it needs. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, you can still use the new food pyramid but you will need to substitute some of the items for alternatives, such as replacing meat with beans or pulses.

All Foods are allowed but Not Equal

No foods are banned from the new food pyramid but there are some foods, which should be eaten in moderation. If fried chicken is your favorite dish, it will not do you any harm to eat it. You will probably not want to eat it every day but once in a while is fine. Chicken is healthy and lean and fried chicken recipes contain some oil but it is fine to consume some oil each day. In fact, the body needs fats as well as other nutrients.

You might like to have a fruit and grain rich breakfast and a vegetable rich lunch to balance out your indulgent fried chicken recipe in the evening. Alternatively, you might want to serve it with corn on the cob, beans, or a green salad but there is no reason that you cannot enjoy your favorite foods and be healthy at the same time.

Banning all fried food or sugars from your diet is going to make you feel deprived. Eating everything in moderation is good for you and is also enjoyable. Unless your doctor has given you a special dietary plan for health reasons, the saying “a little of what you fancy does you good” is very true and the body is sophisticated enough to extract the nutrients out of what you eat to use and send the waste on its way.

The main thing to know about the new food pyramid is that it encourages you to eat a balanced diet. “Balanced” does not mean a fried chicken in one hand and a pound of French fries in the other but it does mean that eating a wide range of foods is good for you.

So, if you were unsure about what the new food pyramid means, you can rest assured that your favorite foods are definitely still on the menu!
