Pamela Anderson hasn’t won any Academy Awards for her acting, but its hard to find many celebrities more worthy of an award for their offstage actions.  Pam became a vegetarian in her teens, when she saw her father cleaning an animal he had hunted.

Ever since, she has been a proud participant of several PETA campaigns, protesting against fur and KFC cruelty.  A native of Canada, she also campaigned against seal hunting in her home country.

She also has been a spokesperson for AIDS and HIV research.  And most recently she became a celebrity spokesperson for the American Liver Foundation.

So from her sexy good looks to her strong history of charitable work, its hard for vegetarians not to love Pam Anderson!
